System Operation

This Take-A-Number system consists of an L.E.D. Number Indicator, Number Panel Control with run-up, run-down, fast up and reset buttons, a ticket dispenser and station control boxes and alert lights if desired.

As the customer enters the office, they are either given a ticket or instructed to take a ticket from the ticket dispenser located near the entrance. The customer then proceeds to area where they wait for their ticket number to appear on the Number Indicator.

As a teller, cashier or agent pushes the button on the station control box, the Number Indicator will advance one number and sound a beeper. The customer holding that ticket number proceeds to the available station. The Number Indicator will display the last number called until another station control box button is pressed. An optional station alert light can also aid the customer in locating the available station quickly.

The Number Panel Control box is used to run up or down the Number Indicator to match the tickets in the ticket dispenser at the open of each business day.

Options

The system is available in the following:

• Low Voltage operation: hard wired from Number Panel Control to stations.
• Remote Control operation: a transmitter at each station with a receiver located in the Number Indicator.

The Number Indicator is available in either 2 or 3 digit models.

Cabinet styles include: Single Face, Double Face (back to back), and Four face (ceiling mount).

Single face Number Indicators can have up to 3 additional remote Number Indicators (master / slave concept). This is only available in Low Voltage operation option.

Ticket dispensers are available in roll paper or cut paper ticket form with either counter or floor mounted dispenser models.

Decor Options

Number Indicator cabinets are standard in black sintra or laminate. The 4 face model is available with any color laminate to match your decor.

Station alert lights are available in a variety of styles including: 2" square, 3" square, 3" round, a mini light or edge light. Any 120v or 12v lamp may also be used with our control boxes to complement a custom design or decor.
